Parents
Camper application materials for the 2008 camping season are now available. Please download the application packet and mail all completed materials to our camp office: “Camp Sojourner, Girls’ Leadership Camp/ 801 S. 48th St./ Philadelphia, PA 19143.” If you are unable to download application materials through our website, contact us through phone or email and we can send you an application packet via mail.
Camp tuition is on a sliding scale from $110 to $500, depending on family income and number of people in the household, plus a $25 (non-refundable) application fee. Some scholarships are available.

Girls
We want to hear from you! Please let us know if you would like to be involved in our camp program or year-round teen leadership development program. You can also download a camper application packet and show it to your parent or guardian, to see if camp may be an option for you this summer.
15-17 year old girls can apply to work with us as junior counselors this summer. Please complete the junior counselor application packet and send it back to us, via mail or email. We will contact you for an interview.
Volunteers/Staff
We are now hiring for the 2008 camp season. Applications are being accepted for the positions of Cabin Counselor, Health Director, and Activity Specialists. Dates of service are from July 31, 2008 until August 10, 2008. Download our Staff Application Materials for more details.

Support from individuals, foundations, and other organizations is what makes it possible for us to provide an affordable camp experience and leadership development for Philadelphia area girls. We charge families significantly less than what it actually costs us to provide a high quality program. Anything you can contribute will help us to make our program available to more girls.
We accept cash, checks, credit cards, supplies, equipment, and other in-kind donations. All donations are tax deductible. Contact us if you have something you think we may be able to use, such as office supplies, camping equipment, or art supplies. We will definitely be needing sleeping bags to provide for some of our campers this summer.

Consider hosting an organizational sponsorship.
Your workplace, place of worship, or other community group may be interested in supporting Philadelphia girls through the work of Girls’ Leadership Camp. Sponsorship involves raising money through the members of your organization in order to sponsor one or more girls to attend camp. A complete sponsorship kit is available.
